A signed oil painting on canvas board of flowers in a vase by Mary Alice Brosfield. This still life painting depicts a blue vase filled with foliage and a single white blooming flower. Signed by hand to the lower right corner, the painting is presented in a cream colored wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and an ink marking with the artist name and date ‘July 1951’ are present to the verso.

- loss of paint to top portion of piece; minor scuffing and loss of finish to corners and edges of frame.
