An early twentieth century Underwood & Underwood stereoscope with an assortment of stereo picture cards. This Holmes-style stereoscope features a metal eyepiece with decorative foliate scroll accents, marked “Sun Sculpture; Trademark”; the underside of the wooden frame is marked “Warranted; Underwood & Underwood; Manufacturers; New York; Patent Applied For.” The cards include portrait and landscape images and include makers such as Underwood & Underwood and Keystone.
