Schmeckenbecker Deco Style Mantel Clock

Item Details

A Schmeckenbecker mantel clock. A clock with a Deco style that features a beehive shape with a walnut wood case accented with mahogany inlays. The case has a curved bonnet surrounding a brass framed glass front door. The door displays a white dial with classic black Roman numerals and contemporary style black hands. Other features of the clock include a quartz German movement with a battery compartment on the verso and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Schmeckenbecker’ on the face.

Condition

- corrosion in battery compartment, clock untested, scratch to frame but body is in great shape.
