1966 "Outstanding Achievement Award" Plaque Presented To Walter Bush

An ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ from the Minneapolis Chamber Of Commerce, presented to Walter Bush and seven colleges in 1966 for ‘Securing A National Hockey League Franchise For The People Of Minnesota’. The award is made in walnut with a gear shaped medallion made of resin with a bronze colored finish. The medallion features a large ‘M’ to the center with city scene behind, sailboat and wheat to the foreground. Below is an engraved brass plate which reads, ‘Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce, ’Outstanding Achievement Award’ For Securing A National Hockey League Franchise For The People Of Minnesota’. It is dated February 10, 1966 and also lists the recipients, Walter J. Bush and seven others.

- has a few a small scratches throughout and two small chips to the bottom edge of the wood.
