A signed semi-antique hand-knotted Persian pictorial Qum rug. This rug features a deep crimson red field ornamented with a female figure holding a bowl in the air, surrounded by flowering trees in hunter and olive greens, cerulean and navy blues, cream, yellow, and sienna. The pictorial field is bound on four sides by a narrow border showing a repeating abstract pattern in coordinating colors. The rug is finished with a single-wrapped selvedge to the two shorter sides and a natural warp fringe to the two longer sides.
