Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Mahal Sarouk area rug. The plush wool pile rug features an all-over scroll and floral motif with star medallion to center. It has a brick red field with indigo, blue, magenta, cream, taupe, chocolate and russet. The compound border has blue, indigo and crimson fields. It is finished with natural cotton warp fringe and unsigned. It is marked with ‘Made in Iran’ tag to underside. The selvedge fringe is red and black.
