Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan room size rug signed, ‘Ghottbi’. The wool pile rug features a center medallion with pendants on crimson field, multi-tiered decorative spandrels and compound border. It is woven in palette crimson, navy, ivory, blue, rose, ochre, mustard and green. It is signed to outside border center in red, white and green signature block. It is finished with cropped natural cotton warp fringe. Marked, ‘Made in Iran’.
