Vintage Rosenthal Porcelain Serveware with Shoxan Kutani Dish
Item Details
A selection of vintage Rosenthal porcelain serveware including a tea pot, a covered sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, and two trays. The pieces feature Donatello forms with curved handles to the lids and angled handles to the sides and thick gilding to the edges. A personalized initial adorns each piece. The elongated antique tray bears an ‘RC Bavaria’ mark ca. 1891-1906 while the creamer is marked ‘Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria’ ca. 1922-33. Also included is a Shoxan Kutani leaf dish with a gilt scroll and floral pattern, a gold tone decorative stand, and two decorative gilt eggs. One of the eggs appears to be signed ‘Lubow.’
