A circa 1975 limited edition color lithograph on paper titled French Castle created by listed artist Jean Trousselle (French; born 1938). The piece depicts a stream surrounded by lush trees with autumn foliage, set against overcast skies and the towers of a large chateau. The image is rendered in a palette of green, yellow, orange and red hues against an off-white ground. The print is signed “Trousselle” by hand to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 254 out of an edition of 275. It is matted in orange and presented under protective glazing in a wooden frame fitted with a sawtooth hanger to the verso. The frame backing includes an authentication label from The Collector’s Guild, Ltd., as well as a sheet with artist information.

Condition

- faint discoloration to print and matting; missing trim to left side of frame; minor scuffs and surface wear to frame; peeling tape and discoloration to frame backing; wear to attached paperwork.
