Pair of Vintage Republic Period Chinese Celadon Plates
Item Details
A pair of vintage Chinese celadon plates. Each porcelain piece is enameled with a delicate polychrome motif of butterflies, fruit, and flowers on a pale teal ground. They are finished with red trim and bear a Tongzhi reign mark to the base, however, they were likely produced during the Republic Period (1912-1949).
