4' x 6' Handwoven Turkish Kilim Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz accent rug. The plush wool pile rug features a centered medallion to the center field worked in shades of rust, brown, oatmeal, blue, forest green, cream and tan. The spandrels incorporate rectilinear and quatrefoil designs. Framing the rug is a sawtooth border and main border with floral and vine patterns grounded in cream. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with short knotted natural cotton warp fringe at each end. Labeled with a tag to the verso indicating country of origin.
