A signed, hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This rug features a central lozenge in floral spray against a madder red field. The compound border is filled with scrolled leaves, palmettes and florets in pale blue, sage, ivory, mustard yellow, salmon, and tan. The rug is finished in hand overcast selvedges with natural tied warp fringe.
