Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian temple pictorial Qum prayer rug. The finely woven wool pile rug features a red center field with one-directional design including a floral urn, a decorative pendant, two columns that conclude in decorative foliate motif in spandrels, and compound border with column and floral patterns. It is woven with high knot count in palette of red, mustard, tan, cream, brown, dark and light blue. The rug has cropped natural cotton warp fringe and is unsigned.
