A 19th century Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1911) cloisonné enamel plate. The plate illustrates in skillful detail a pair of cranes under an auspicious pine bough with various florals and a stylized pattern at the rim. The underside of the rim enjoys an allover cloud pattern.
