Vintage Cast Iron Hubley Springer Spaniel Dog Doorstop

A vintage Hubley cast iron English Springer Spaniel dog doorstop. Hand-painted with white fur, black spots, and yellow eyes, she stands in full pointing ‘setter’ position. It was made in two halves, held tightly and securely together by two slotted screws. The piece has no discernible marks, and weighs over five pounds.

- some wear and spots of paint loss, especially around head; paint chip on right flank.
