Early 20th Century J. Chein Ferris Wheel Toy Lamp

An early 20th century J. Chein lithographed tin metal Ferris Wheel toy repurposed as a lamp. The Ferris Wheel has six gondolas printed with colorful images of children and the face of Hercules the clown decorates the center of the wheel. The base is detailed with images of refreshment stands and carnival amusements. The toy is fixed to a wood base and the lamp stem is positioned in the back of the wheel. A vintage square rectangular drum shade is detailed with circus clowns and caged animals reminiscent of old fashion carnivals.

Condition
- overall in good condition consistent with age. There is some rust on the base of the Ferris Wheel and on the gondolas. The lamp is untested due to older wiring. Some color fading.

Overall size of the lamp base including stem height is 11" wide x 24" tall x 6" deep.
The lamp shade is 18" wide x 12" tall x 9" deep.
