A hand-knotted Persian Qum area rug . This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of rich crimson, cerulean, coral, mauve, white, peach, black, indigo, and forest green. This rug features a large circular shaped rosette like central medallion on a plain field. The corner brackets are patterned with scrollwork and palmettes and it is framed with compound borders of lush floral patterns. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Unmarked.
