Hand-Knotted Persian Mehriban Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Mehriban area rug. This wool rug offers a field populated with large floral vase motifs and floral sprays over a crimson colored ground. The design elements are worked in a palette containing ivory, pink, azure, onyx and mocha. Framing the rug are running water patterns along with a main border boasting large flower heads. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
