An oil painting on canvas by H. Krohn. This still life painting depicts a vibrant arrangement of large flower blossoms in a blue urn style vase on a marble surface against a dark background. The work is signed in the lower left corner ‘H. Krohn’. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with ornately molded pierced arabesque trim. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

Condition

- cracking and chipping with loss to molding throughout frame particularly to upper right; abrasions and discoloration to finish of frame.
