Native American-Style Handwoven Pictorial Accent Rugs
Item Details
A pair of handwoven Native American-style pictorial rugs. The larger wool rug features a Navajo-style yei design depicting five female yei spirit figures in coral, tan, lavender, pink, rust and mint over a cream-colored field. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and a tassel to each corner. The smaller piece features three male yei spirit figures in gray, beige and black over a cream-colored field. The piece is stretched on two wooden rods with natural warp fringe to each end. The pieces are unmarked.
