Enfield Art Deco Wood Mantel Clock

A vintage English Enfield Art Deco mantel clock. A clock that is circa 1940 and features an oak wood and veneer case that has a curved bonnet and curved side panels with decorative reeded wood overlays on the front. The case has a silvertone and glass front door that displays a white dial with black Roman numerals and a grey center with two key arbors and slender black metal hands. Other features of the clock include an 8-day time and strike movement with chimes on the hour, a hinged wood door on the verso and the clock stands on a plinth style base. The clock is marked ‘Enfield’ on the face.

Condition

- fair, currently does not work ,wood is dried and has some scratches on back, missing pendulum.
