Item Details
A large hand-knotted Persian area rug. This wool rug features a vase design in a faded palette of persimmon, powder blue, azure, cream, mocha and midnight blue. It begins with an allover herati pattern incorporating crisply rendered palmettes, flowers, leaves, vase forms, botehs and vines over a persimmon field. The field is framed by four borders, including a herati main border featuring lotus blooms over cream. Minor borders feature meander patterns over azure. The rug is unlabeled.
