A 1535 copy of Autores Historiae Ecclesiasticae containing a multitude of works in Latin and Greek, edited by humanist Beatus Rhenanus (German, 1485-1547). The work was published in Basel in 1535 by noted printer Johann Froben (circa. 1460-1527), with his device present in three locations throughout (title, page, on the verso of the colophon, and the verso of the final page). Bound in contemporary vellum covered wooden boards with extensive blind stamping.
