An 1813 two volume set of The History of Rome from the Foundation of the The City of Rome to the Destruction of the Western Empire by Oliver Goldsmith, M.B. Printed in Edinburgh by Alexander Lawrie & Company for Silvester Doig & Andrew Stirling. The books are bound in full leather detailed with an embossed design on the perimeter, slightly raised bands with gilt. Pencil notations are found on the free end-papers.
