Item Details

A stoneware wall salt box by G.M.T. & Bros. of Germany. This round-shaped box features a Blue Daube style pattern with a white background and the word ‘Salt’ on the front. The box also has a wooden hinged lid with a ceramic knob handle. The underside is stamped, ‘G.M.T. & Bros., Germany, 3998’.

Condition

- discoloration and staining; crazing; chip to bottom rim; would benefit from cleaning.
