Louis XV Style Settee

Item Details

An antique Louis XV style carved settee. The piece features a shaped and carved double back joined by a floral carved and pierced centerpiece. It has a carved, double bowed apron and stands on cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The small sofa is upholstered in a cream woven fabric with gimp trim and a down-filled cushion seat, including fringe trim.

Condition

- finish wear, cracks, scratches and marks consistent with age and use; upholstery and cushion appears to be a later addition.
