A 1725 first edition of A New Voyage Round the World, By A Course Never Sailed Before by Daniel Defoe. Printed in London for A. Bettesworth and W. Meares in 1725. Complete with a map frontispiece by J. Clark and three additional copperplate illustrations (part I p. 40, part II pp. 59 and 93). Bound in full leather with tooled and paneled boards which has been restored, notably with a replaced spine with raised bands and gilt titles and decoration.
