A 1768 document signed by Patriot William Hooper (1742-1790), a member of the Continental Congress and singer of the Declaration of Independence as a delegate from North Carolina. This September 5, 1768 document signed by Hooper, a practicing attorney, concerns the verdict of a criminal case involving William Elder. This document is presented alongside a typewritten explanation beneath glass, black matting, and encompassed by a black and gold tone frame with hanging wire affixed to the verso. DS 1 page, legal folio. The piece is accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
