A pair of 19th century antique books bound with three quarter leather and marble cover boards. Includes a 1936 edition of An Architectural Tour in Normandy with Some Remarks on Norman Architecture by Henry Gally Knight, Esq, MP, published in London by John Murray with plate illustrations. A 1936 inscription in ink appears on a blank page along with pencil notes on the pastdown. Also presented is an 1879 edition of The Life and Letters of Madame Bonaparte by Eugene L. Didier, London by Sampson, Low, Marston, Searle & Rivington. There is a 1911 signature in ink along with pencil notes.
