4' x 9' Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Bijar Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Bijar rug. This rug features a black field ornamented with rows of repeating abstract geometric patterning in crimson, pale blue, pale peach, ivory, navy, and stone grey. The center field is bound by a principal border showing layered diamond patterning in coordinating colors as well as coffee brown on a crimson field and is flanked on both sides by identical minor borders showing floral patterning. The rug is finished with a braided selvedge to both sides and a natural warp fringe to both ends.
