A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Bakhtiari rug. This rug features a vibrant color palette of crimson, navy, tangerine, cream, emerald green, coffee brown, and petal pink with black line work throughout. The center field is patterned with hexagonal tiles, each containing a distinct abstract or organic motif. The field is bound by a resolved principal border showing a repeating floral pattern in apricot, tangerine, cream, navy, sage, and petal pink, which is flanked by minor borders to both sides showing the same pattern in different coloration. The rug is finished with a single-wrapped selvedge to both sides and a natural warp fringe to both ends.
