A colored lithograph designed by well listed artist Marc Chagall and Charles Sorlier, titled The Prophet Daniel in the Lion’s Den and Elijah Taken to Heaven. These works come from the series The Bible published by Verve, 1956. This front of the piece shows an angel flying over a yellow-headed lion, and one with a red spot to its side, with Daniel below. While the verso is a depiction of Elijah in a chariot pulled by three horses being taken to heaven. This item is one of the 6500 unsigned copies issued. The lithograph is displayed under glass in a white matte and dark tone wood frame. The piece has an informative label to the verso.
