Antique Copeland & Garrett Late Spode Covered Vegetable Dishes with Wood Stands
Item Details
A pair of antique ironstone covered vegetable dishes by Copeland & Garrett in the pattern known as 2857. These late Spode dishes date 1833-40. They are decorated with a colorful interpretation of an eighteenth century pagoda pattern with cobalt handles and enamel gilding. An impressed mark on the underside reads ‘New Stone’ and there is a factory mark reading ‘Copeland & Garrett, Spode’. Also included are two black wooden display stands.
