Vintage Mahogany Side by Side Secretary Bookcase by Rockford

Item Details

A vintage mahogany side-by-side secretary bookcase by Rockford Chair and Furniture Co., Rockford Illinois. The piece features a central broken arch pediment with spire finial above a hinged, slant-front writing surface, revealing slotted and drawer storage. One drawer falls below. To each side is an attached cabinet, including two drawers above a fretwork paneled cabinet door. They stand on claw and ball feet. A maker’s tag is visible to the center drawer interior.

Condition

- to poor: one glass panel missing on left cabinet door; finish loss, nicks, marks and scratches to surface, especially around legs.
