An antique Caucasian Kuba wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of sepia, sky blue, wheat, ivory, sand, rose, and clementine. The sepia hued field features an all-over lattice pattern of double cross medallions with box and hooked elements, along with split leaf motifs, and X forms. Framing the field is a main chichi border, along with a pair of carnation guard borders, and an X and box alternating minor border. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and an extremely short wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
