A vintage French style mantel clock. A wood clock with a black finish and a decorative curved shape with carved gold tone wood accents. The clock fetures a brass foliate finial on a wood case with gilded trim and a carved wood and glass paneled door with a decorative scrollwork design.The glass door displays a brass bezel surrounding a black metal face with gold tone Roman numerals, serpentine hands and two brass key arbors. Other features of the clock include a brass pendulum, a time and strike movement and a curved base with a decorative brass accent and scrolled black feet with brass accents. There are no apparent makers marks.
