A pair of antique Sherwin & Cotton ceramic ‘Pickwick Papers’ tiles. Featured is a depiction of the Charles Dickens characters dressed in 19th century clothing. The tile on the left depicts the man looking at a quill while the man on right holds a paper. Both works are rendered in a green tone glaze. They are presented without glass in wood frame and hanging hardware to the verso.

Condition

- to fair; chips and glaze flaking throughout; surface wear to edges and corners of frames

Dimensions

- measures frames; visible images measure 5.25" W x 11.25" H; both are equal in size.
