Item Details
A Chippendale style upholstered wingback chair and ottoman by Southwood. This set includes an armchair with serpentine crest rail and wing panel joining flared armrests. This piece includes a removable seat cushion over an upholstered front apron rising on straight legs joined by an H-stretcher. Also includes a rectangular, cushion top ottoman with upholstered apron sides rising on straight legs. The chair is marked ‘Southwood Hickory, North Carolina’, ‘Connoissuer’, and ‘Hamilton Wrenn’ to tags under the seat cushion.
