Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian wool accent rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of carnation, sapphire, cornflower blue, and ivory and features a compound floral medallion to the center. The lozenge field is densely populated with rosettes and palmettes and is grounded by intricately patterned corner spandrels. It is frame by compound floral guard borders, which flank a primary border comprised of an organic herati pattern over cornflower. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
