Self-taught artist, Jann Carrier, was born in Plymouth, Michigan during the 20th century. From childhood, Carrier has been exposed to the art world through her father, Roy Pedersen, who was a potter and art educator. Carrier’s work ranges from sewing to stained glass, earning a publication in Sew Beautiful magazine and exhibiting in local shows. In addition, Carrier practiced for a number of years in a stained glass studio doing the reconstruction of church windows and custom glass work, fulfilling her artistic passion.
