Item Details
A semi-antique handwoven Anatolian kilim carpet runner using the slit weave style of knotting. This flatweave wool rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, tangerine, camel, cornflower, black, and ivory and centered with a pole of serrated diamond medallions. The field is infilled with pairs of smaller stepped diamond medallions and framed by dart compound borders with crenellated edges. It is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
