A hand-knotted Mexican bird motif flat weave wool rug. The rug features woven bird motif decoration including a central bird figure on a branch with flowers to either end on a field populated with bird pairs in a palette of carnation, cornflower blue, sage, ochre, coffee, and cream on a taupe ground. It has overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe. No tag is present.
