Waugaman Watercolor Landscape Painting

Watercolor by Charles Allen Waugaman (1932-2010). This watercolor features the Slade Avenue Pumping Station in Elgin, Illinois and the smoke stack in this piece is from the old Sherman Hospital.

Mr. Waugaman graduated from the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminar and was Art Director for the American Baptist Churches. In 1967, he received a Masters Degree in Education and headed the Visual Arts Department at Judson College in Elgin, Illinois.

He was a dedicated artist, published poet and illustrator.

This work is signed in the lower left and dated 1966.

- image paper & mattes are discolored; blue/gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
