This collection includes volume two of The Life of George Brummell, Esq. by Captain Jesse (Saunders and Otley, 1844), Realmah by Arthur Helps (Macmillan and Co., 1869), volumes one and two of The Memoirs of Baron de Marbot by Arthur John Butler (Longmans, Green, and Co., 1892) and ‘Albion’ edition of The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott (Frederick Warne, 1890). Also included are Robespierre, A Study by Hilaire Belloc (James Nisbet & Co., 1901), Pioneers of Science by Sir Oliver Lodge (Macmillan and Co., 1908), and volume one of The Perfect Courtier by Julia Cartwright(John Murray, 1927). The books are each presented in a leather bound cover with gilt detail work to the spine.
