A signed oil painting on canvas of a ship by Page. This piece depicts a ship with large white sails navigating the calm waters of the ocean under a cloudy sky and is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented in a stained wood frame with a wire for hanging purposes and a graphite marking reading ‘J. Page 02’ are present to the verso.

Condition

- some cracking and alligatoring of the paint, and an area of cracked paint to the upper center-right that shows media loss as well; some small abrasions to the center of the painting and other areas where the canvas is visible.
