A Mexican Folk style acrylic painting on panel. This piece is painted on a circular ground and depicts a gathering of animals including rabbits, elephants, butterflies, birds, snails, a lion, and a leopard in a grassy field with flowers and a tree beneath a deep orange sky. It is painted with bold, flat color with each figure outlined in shadow. The piece is signed ‘L. Nuno’ and marked Mexico to the lower side, presented unframed, and has wire to the verso for hanging.

- some scratches to surface; chips and wear to edges.
