A pair of antique engravings on paper. Featured is a hand-colored engraving titled Veduta della Città Imperiale di Vienna (View of the Imperial City of Vienna), depicting a mid 18th-century cityscape of the Austrian capital, with places of note listed in plate along the lower margin. Also included is a hand-colored engraving after a 17th-century map titled Moravia Marchionatus after noted scholar John Amos Comenius (Czech; 1592 – 1670). The work is similar to a map published by Willem Blaeu in an atlas titled Theatrum Orbis Terrarum, Sive Atlas Novus. Both prints are matted and presented under glass in wooden frames, each fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
