Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Chinese carved floral area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of teal, ivory, rose, and tangerine and centered with a sculpted floral wreath medallion. The rectangular field features floating bouquets and coordinating embellishments to each corner. Framing the field are solid guard borders in rose, which flank a wide primary border mirroring the field’s floral design over ivory. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, a cotton kilim skirt, and cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
