Hand-Knotted Persian Nahavand Wool Long Rug
Item Details
A handmade Persian Nahavand carpet runner. This rug features an indigo field decorated by repeating diamond medallions along with floral and foliate patterns in shades of brick, cyan, azure, and cinnamon. The main border features stylized palemtte repeats in similar colors and is flanked by two guard borders with golden grounds in carnation meander patterns. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with ivory cotton warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
