Hand-Knotted Persian Tribal Wool Floor Mat
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian tribal wool floor mat. This small rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, salmon, saffron, fern, cobalt, clementine, and black. The madder red hued field features a kaikalak motif along with branched forms, animals, and other geometrically shaped symbols, while framed in a carnation meander border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends, and it goes unlabeled.
